This route leads directly to Mostecká Street in the Lesser Quarter, where the hotel is situated. The history of this hotel dates back to the mid-14th century and perhaps beyond. The earliest mention comes from Tomek's renowned topography and indicates that the palace of Mainz archbishop Ludwig stood here at that time. It links the archbishop to a story from the Lesser Quarter, according to which the house represented welfare and happiness.
